IVECO Stralis Review
Auto Trader, one of the leading online sales platforms, has recently undertaken a comprehensive review of the IVECO Stralis. North East Truck and Van take a look at the outcome.
Praising the IVECO Stralis XP 480 for having an “impressive 2,300Nm torque from 970rpm through to 1,500rpm”, Auto Trader added “It can cope admirably with undulating terrain as well as the tougher climbs”.
Highlighting the improvements that have been made across the IVECO Stralis range, Auto Trader praised the interior for “being inline with the modern era” and added it features “a new dashboard with soft-touch plastics combined with more storage and a thicker mattress, a touch-screen with links to driver and vehicle performance and evaluation tool”.
IVECO has continuously added to its safety and driver assistance functions. Auto Trader highlights include “electronic braking and brake assistant systems, electronic stability program, and hill-hold to stop the vehicle from rolling back after the brake pedal is released”.
Thanks to the launch of the XP version in 2016, the IVECO Stralis NP is a fuel-friendly long-haul truck. Auto Trader stated “the CNG/LNG powered engines also help reduce day-to-day running costs. Gas is cheaper, cleaner and matches diesel mile-for-mile and doesn’t require AdBlue”.
Awarding the IVECO Stralis four stars out of five, Auto Trader summed up the review by commenting “…Stralis is a good, solid, versatile option thanks to a strong engine line up, complemented by options for alternative fuels, a smart transmission and a quiet, comfortable cab”.
