North East Truck & Van Limited is a franchised main commercial vehicle dealer for Iveco, MAN, Fiat Professional and Maxus with a history of over 50 years' and operating across 7 dealerships in the North and North East of England.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and committed commercial vehicle technicians to join our workshop at our York branch.
We have vacancies for heavy goods technicians, van technicians and full-range technicians.
The role is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Workshop Controller and Service Manager.
Some of the main duties for the role will include (but not limited to):

Inspection and repair of vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.

Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment.

General mechanical and electrical repairs.

Offsite working, including breakdown attendance.

A focus on customer service and a dedication to keeping our customer’s vehicles on the road and minimising downtime.
The successful applicant must have experience in a similar role either within the commercial vehicle or retail car sectors. Franchised main dealer experience is preferred but all backgrounds will be considered.
The successful applicant must be NVQ, or City & Guilds qualified (or equivalent) and should have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
